No reservations needed except when there is a hockey game or big event at Budweiser
No
This place is great!Very friendly staff, and a cozy atmosphere. They have local craft brews available, as well as the classics. It's a wonderful location, just across from both the Covent Garden Market and Budweiser Gardens, in the heart of London.Every time I stop by I always make sure to get an order of their bacon wrapped scallops (as pictured) and they are so So delicious! I love them so much I eat the kale garnish underneath because the bacon has dripped on to it. They do serve it with a lemon wedge and a sauce, my advise is to just use the lemon, the sauce is good but these babies stand wonderfully on their own.Great place, good music, fun times with friends in an accessible location with amazing food. What's not to like? 5 stars
Environment is nice in the place, service is good as well..... food is ok, ordered mozzarella sticks and wings, sticks were awesome but my wings were a little bit over roasted and salty but not bad.
I went there with a few friends to grab beers and hangout. The lady serving us was rude and really short with us. Kind of ruined the whole vibe. Bad service. Wouldn't go back again.
This was my first visit at this place. I was with two friends (ladies over 70 like myself) who had recommended it and had been there before. The host and server were pleasant and helpful. We ordered fish and sweet potato chips. The chips were excellent but the fish had a hard batter. The inside of the fish was adequate. I ordered tea which came in a tea pot. I drink a lot of tea everywhere but this tea tasted awful. The server brought me a second pot which just tasted the same. It is very hard to mess up tea. It was a Higgins and Burke teabag which is one of the best. So I am thinking that either the water wasn't sufficiently boiled or the detergent used to clean the teapots had seeped into the teapots. At any rate I left two complete pots of tea and went and had some at the "Little Red Rooster " in the market. The atmosphere was nice and very Irishy. I would got again and order something else and maybe a different beverage.
Great spot before a Knights or concert
Great atmosphere. Food was pretty good. Quick service. Burger was very flavourful and juicy. And the fries taste like home made fries.. Sooo good!
We loved this place....remember it from Grand Bend! Came for the Corey Hart concert!
Best Mozza sticks and escargot. Must go!!!
Good portions with friendly service but the Food is just alright.
Nice place to sit and have a few drinks. Freindly staff and very cold beer
We went to J Dees across the street from the BUD before a concert. We were pleasantly surprised with the service, the ambiance and the yummy food! Even though the restaurant was packed.....with diners waiting at the bar......we didn’t feel rushed and the service was great.....friendly and quick. Our stir fry and lamb burger were excellent! We will be back! had a great pre game meal at J.Dee's. Staff was amazing. Food was very good and reasonably priced. I was served in a timely manner and got to the game on time. J Dee's is my first choice on game night.
Service is excellent and super quick! I have visited three times in the past month for a quick bite around 6pm. Every time we've been served quickly and the food is great! Really good deals on kids meals too! All around $7!
Deep fried mushrooms, teriyaki burger and Asian Vegetable salad are the BEST!!! Getting a salad? Get the dill dressing, it's delicious and really good with the fries as a dip as well. Fries are thick cut and gravy is deliciously salty. Staff is younger but SO friendly and fast!!
Good place to go before or after an event at Bud Gardens.
Amazing food and really nice people
Blue cheese burger is probably the best I've ever had the patty is so good!
We've been there several times. Love the escargot. Always had helful, welcoming wait staff. Comfortable welcoming atmosphere .
The shrimp linguine was fantastic. My expectations were blown away.
First time going, my food was good but the gravy that they brought to my mom had a thick layer over it, we think it had been in the fridge. Our server was still excellent though
Omg what a great place!!! One of the best burgers downtown, local, and very friendly.Way way better than that chain burger place down the street.
Large portions, the friendliest staff, delicious affordable food and those drink prices cannot be beat.
Good special, friendly service. Good place to go.
Great people hanging out at the bar. Good staff very friendly and very welcoming. Definitely a good spot to go and chill out. Will be returning
The Classic burger is the best hands down great place great food!
Let's start with the ice tea my wife orderd. Food particles (mystery stuff) floating in the glass. The nachos were the most pathetic thing I've seen come from a restaurant. A few chips thrown on a plate with melted cheese slices. Yes I said cheese slices. Raw onions very little sauce. Very disappointed in my 1st and last visit here.
Food was good. Salmon in Salmon burger was pretty over cooked. Not as good as I remember.
Great food and service.
Service is good, but plates are outdated. (They sprinkle plates with parsley) cheese burger was dry and slightly over done. Fish was good tho. They have a large number of beers to choose from, great for drinks with friends.
Nice atmosphere great service great staff
Just across the street from Budweiser Gardens and Covent Market, this place just deserves to be visited.Excellent location, good atmosphere, and good service. The food is so delicious! They have really put several good recipes together. It would be great if they extended their days and hours.Need a very good burger and drink? Definitely a great place to get them.
Just stopped in London for work and had to stop by. Ordered a fried fish sandwich and it was awesome. Fries are real potatoes and everything tastes good. Wonders how the place stays open as it not usually busy.
Good price
We really enjoyed our meals although we were disappointed with the way the Club Sandwich was presented and it's ingredients. It would have tasted better with Turkey breast instead of a luncheon meat. It also didn't contain three slices of bread and very little mayo. The fries need to be cooked just a fraction more as some were still undercooked in the centre. The Blue Cheese Burger was to die for and I would drink many more of their Long Island Iced Tea if we had more time. Wonderful atmosphere and music. We will be back😉
Two words, lamb burger. Or if vegetarian is your thing, try the grilled veggies burger. The vegetable fried rice is a great change up side, and the peanut butter pie will easily fill two you!
Great salad and service
Awesome burgers, great beer and good service.
Their club house sandwich is amazing and so is their iced tea.
Great service and very friendly staff
Forgetful service. Brought wrong deink, Avg food and "doubles" were barely singles. Not what it was 15 years ago. Would skip it in future.
Still super expensive but good service and good food.
Sandwiches and burgers are ok. Homemade mozzarella sticks are delicious! Service is average at best. Place needs a renovation or a very very good clean.
Very friendly service, and fast !!
Classic burger is amazing! They do a great job at keeping the burger juicy and well done.
Over priced terrible food
Waiting for a table on Canada Day. Asked if one of the 5 tables that were open were available. She said i was sitting by myself and I can sit at the bar. Tried explaining i was with a friend and she walked away...Came here for lunch but will eat somewhere else. Cant eat somewhere where i get treated like garbage. No tip will be given. Except maybe not to treat customers like garbage. Won't come here again. Suggest they find new servers.Rude and snotty server/ hostess today ruined my view of this establishment.
Food was fresh & service was fast.
Ask for Alison, she's the best waitress! Great food too!
Awesome food ... pleasant servers ... great ambience ...
I like the feel of J Dee's decor inside. It's got a nice wooden booth pub feel. The food is delicious and they have local beer available. Good people watching grounds outside while you hum along to 70/80's feel good music.
Chicken fingers deluxe is amazing. The ceaser is great. Fantastic chicken, veggie rice and the salad Fabulous. Service is exquisite and fantastic. prices a little high but other than that definitely come here
